The Department of Education and Wellness promotes the growth of students, both intellectually and physically. Our faculty provide all students the opportunity to enhance their health and physical fitness by offering a variety of courses in wellness and physical education. The Department offers the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education as well as foundation courses that prepare students for teacher preparation programs at ABAC or other institutions.

The Department of Education and Wellness also offers a Certificate in Instructional Support Personnel which is designed as a continuing education and professional development program for paraprofessionals/teacher assistants and is intended to prepare students to successfully pass the GACE exam, which is required by GA Professional Standards Commission.
